Spire of Dawn

I wanted to collect an other force as well (not only to Ironjawz), to be able to play at home. I could not decide which faction I would like to take and paint other than the orks.

I was looking for something cost effective, like the start collecting boxes or the starter set including two armies. Both would have been nice, but I'm totally not liking the Stormcasts and Khorne so that was not an option.

Then was the Spire of Dawn box announced, and the price (per model) was so good that I could not resist.

I think the Spire of Dawn box was the best choice I could take at that time. The elves were not my favorite, but my brother likes the Skaven so it was even more of a good choice because of this. The elf models also look good, but I'm not prioritizing them for painting at the moment, even though I already built some scenery pieces with elven theme, and the unit basing will follow that.

The Skaven force is the first for painting.

I just want to build up the Ironjawz and Skaven for something like 1200-1500 points, so with my brother we will be able to play not only skirmish matches with painted models, but also be able to have some choices what to bring to each 1000 point battle for more more diversity.
